It was an incredible night for BET and Grammy Award winner,  Burna Boy , when he performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, becoming the first Nigerian artist to sell out the 13,000-capacity arena. The multi-award-winning singer took to the stage on March 17, 2022, in a staggering performance to a sold-out crowd on St. Patrick’s Day, giving the people of Dublin, Ireland something worth remembering for a lifetime. With this sold-out performance, the Afrofusion pioneer joins the fine list of other talented artists like  Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna, Jay Z, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars , and a lot more in selling out Dublin’s 3Arena. The Spacedrift tour has seen Burna Boy sell-out dates in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and now Dublin, giving credence to his intrinsic musical expertise. Kanye, 44, came under fire on Wednesday March 16, for his repeated public outbursts aimed at his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson, as well as comedian/TV host, Trevor Noah, who came out to criticize his behavior. It led to Kanye being suspended from Instagram for 24 hours for his posts about Pete and Trevor, which are said to have violated Instagram's harassment policy. The Academic Staff Union of Universities has again blamed the Federal Government for the ongoing strike in public universities. ASUU's national President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke in an interview with  Punch , said the federal government “went to sleep” for eight months after it completed negotiations with the union in May 2021. Osodeke said;  “The initial idea was that the government would have met all the demands within the four weeks. But since the government said they could not meet up with our demands in four weeks, we said let us give them eight weeks. We just don’t want to declare an indefinite strike. Let us hope that in eight weeks, they meet up so that schools can return to normal and there will be an improvement in the system. “All they have done is to make promises like they had done in the past.   Sex tape of Alhaja Kafilat Rufai a.k.a Alhaja Kaola, a popular radio presenter and founder of Kaola Communications and Kaola Travel and Tours has been shared online.  Alhaja Kaola who presents the Islamic programme ‘Albayan with Alhaja Kaola’ on Fresh FM, Ibadan, was seen in the viral video, giving an unidentified man a blow job.  The media personality who has confirmed that she's the one in the video, accused her ex-husband of being behind the leak. She alleged that her former husband, Sharafa, threatened to release nude photos and videos of her to the public. Also responding to claims of snatching her sister, Maryam Rufai’s husband, Alhaja Kaola denied it all and further disclosed that they are all conjured to smear her. 

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Bode George has said that he will leave Nigeria if Bola Ahmed Tinubu becomes President of Nigeria. Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos on Saturday March 19, George claimed that Tinubu would ensure that his family members occupy sensitive positions if he becomes president, adding that the ex-governor has done nothing to deserve the seat.   Acting Police Public Relations Officer PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has asked Nigerians to report police officers who stop them while on the road for a tinted glass permit. In a tweet thread, Adejobi stated that the issuance of tinted permit has been suspended and no officer is empowered to question a car owner who has tinted glass. He also listed the things police officer are authorized to check for in a car and those they are not authorized to check. See his tweet thread below

  facility A video of former Governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano at an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been shared online.  In this video, Obiano who was arrested on Thursday, March 17 after the expiration of his tenure, was seen drinking bottled water.   This is coming after the EFCC revealed that he has been transferred from their Lagos office to Abuja. 

Russia's leader, Vladimir Putin has "finally agreed" he will need to meet with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky in person to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The Russian tyrant will allegedly meet Zelensky 'at some point', the Express reported, after the Ukrainian leader accused Russia of 'war crimes' amid the bombing of an art school and theatre in Mariupol where civilians were sheltering. The two leaders have let their diplomatic teams conduct peace talks on neutral ground since after the start of the conflict on February 24. BBC correspondent Lysa Doucet said the Russian President is now believed to have caved to his top diplomats and accepted he will have to attend negotiations himself "at some point."
