Golf superstar, Rory McIlroy announces birth of his first child with wife Erica Stoll
Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica Stoll have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. 

 

The golf superstar announced the happy news on Thursday, September 3, and revealed that the they have named their daughter, Poppy Kennedy McIlroy.


The couple who have been married since 2017, welcomed the child on Monday August 31, at Jupiter Medical Center in Florida. 


Sharing a black and white photo of himself holding the newborn's hand, the proud father wrote: 'Poppy Kennedy McIlroy, born August 31st, 12:15pm. She is the absolute love of our lives. Mother and baby are doing great. Massive thank you to all the staff at Jupiter Medical Center and Dr Sasha Melendy for their amazing care

​ The Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions (ASURI) has suspended its endless strike. Review that the association had left on an endless strike last October over irritating issues with the Federal Government. The association reported the suspension of the strike in a letter to the Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige, endorsed by its Secretary General, Comrade Theophilus Ndubuaku. In a recent post shared on his Instagram page, Yul said he has been attacked by people who do not understand that every action taken by him has a root cause, people who do not live with him and his family.
