Scholarly Staff Union of Research Institutions suspends endless strike

​ The Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions (ASURI) has suspended its endless strike. Review that the association had left on an endless strike last October over irritating issues with the Federal Government. The association reported the suspension of the strike in a letter to the Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige, endorsed by its Secretary General, Comrade Theophilus Ndubuaku. The letter read: "The Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions (ASURI), therefore writes to illuminate you regarding our choice to suspend, with quick impact, our continuous strike called to fight the accompanying issues: "Refusal of the regulating services, divisions and organizations (MDAs) to carry out the Conditions of Service (CoS) of Federal Research Agencies, Institutions and Colleges (CoS 19) as endorsed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF) with impact from January 1, 2019. ​ Yul Edochie has again hinted that something pushed him to marry actress Judy Austin and welcome a baby with her. In a recent post shared on his Instagram page, Yul said he has been attacked by people who do not understand that every action taken by him has a root cause, people who do not live with him and his family. His post reads; ''GOD IS PREPARING ME FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL SEAT OF OUR COUNTRY NIGERIA. In the last couple of days I have been insulted by people all over the world who do not know the reasons for my decision. I have been attacked by people who do not understand that every action taken has a root cause, people who do not live with me and my family therefore they will not know what inspired my action.
